About Us
The Cayman Islands Government General Registry is currently housed in the Citrus Grove Building, Grand Cayman. However, the office will move eventually to its new home in the Government Administration Building on Elgin Avenue. The primary function of the General Registry is to develop and implement policies and systems for all registers under its administration to ensure continued effective contribution to the financial services industry and the public; to maintain and improve storage mediums and facilities for records to ensure that vital statistics and other information is readily available now and in the future; nd to deliver service to its customers courteously and efficiently. Perhaps the most important registers are those directly related to the islands’ financial industry. These include Companies, Partnerships, Trusts and Patents & Trademarks.
